Here is, what has to be, the most discriminatory statement ever made:
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6, King James Bible Plainly stated, if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord & Saviour you will not see Heaven! This includes baptists, catholics, presbyterians, methodists, jews, muslims, atheists & any faith not listed. That's some serious discriminating!! No matter how much sinful man attempts to recreate & repackage God to fit any viewpoint, God is still on His Throne & He does not conform to any human view! "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17, King James Bible Just because you or any other human says God is this or God said that matters not one whit! What did God say in the only book He ever wrote? Did Jesus, who is God Almighty, actually heal the sodomite lover of a Roman soldier? Answer: No! Proof? Please read: "Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.
And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick." Luke 7:2 through 10, King James Bible I read nowhere in that passage of any lover, just that of a concerned employer who humbled himself before the Lord's Christ asking healing for his employee! The centurion demonstrated humility, something required of every living soul that comes to Jesus for His Saving Grace. A humble soul does not vaunt themself before the Throne of God as they are meek & shamefaced before the One True & All Holy Creator Putting a Religious Spin on your sin?? Allegations were made that the future king of Israel, David, and King Saul's son Jonathan were a couple. Once again, let's see what the Scriptures say concerning them: "And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul." I Samuel 18:1, King James Bible I read nowhere in that passage of a physical desire, only of the spiritual love of one man for a kindred soul. Please read further in I Samuel 18 and you will read something contradictary to what was alleged of David: "Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife. And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Saul's daughter loved him." I Samuel 18:27 and 28, King James Bible It would appear that David's interests were with Jonathan's sister, not Jonathan! No proof exists where God condones sodomy; not one line of scripture exists!! Anyone who reads God's Word & derives such needs to read this portion of scripture: "Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God." Matthew 22:29, King James Bible And these verses.. "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." Titus 1:15 and 16, King James Bible Okay, if no scripture exists blessing homosexuality, what does God say about it? "And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know." Genesis 18:17 through 21, King James Bible God called what the citizens of Sodom & Gomorrah did a very grievous sin! God never has & never will bless sin. Sin is what separated man from God & it was man's choice to sin! In Leviticus, God gives even more detail as to His view on homosexuality & bestiality: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion." Leviticus 18:22 and 23, King James Bible Abomination! Confusion! These do not come from God: "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." I Corinthians 14:33, King James Bible God did not make man for man, He made woman for man. Please read: "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed." Genesis 2:18 through 25, King James Bible And they were not ashamed! Why? Because God made them for each other; man and wife! The New Testament give us more of how God views homosexuality and it isn't pretty: "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." Romans 1:21 through 32, King James Bible Wow! The Lord doesn't seem to agree with a so-called church in Indianapolis that is stating otherwise!! Who are you going to trust? "And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust." Romans 15:12, King James Bible " But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;" II Corinthians 1:9 & 10, King James Bible "That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," Ephesians 1:12 & 13, King James Bible "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." I Timothy 4:10, King James Bible By God's Word it is clear Whom we are to trust! The One who bought our salvation with His own blood!! "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;" Romans 3:25, King James Bible "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." Romans 5:9, King James Bible "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" Ephesians 1:7, King James Bible Now that we've seen how God Almighty views homosexuality, how does He view those who claim to be Christians that hate homosexuals? "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes." I John 2:9 through 11, King James Bible A true born again Christian has absolutely no license to hate anyone! We are no more than sinners saved by God's Grace through His only begotten Son Christ Jesus! To hate anyone is not of God as God hates no soul!! "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." John 3:15 through 21, King James Bible "And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." Luke 9:51-56, King James Bible "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." II Peter 2:9, King James Bible Our Lord God loves mankind! He is not the picture of the false Roman God Jove ready to smite whom He chooses! He is lovesuffering and, as the previous passage clearly states, He doesn't want anyone to die in their sins. Jesus died & in doing so, paid for every sin; none were missed!! Why did God allow His pure & perfect Son to be murdered by the hands of wicked men? To restore the relationship that Adam, the first man, had with Him! It was a perfect & peaceful relationship created by God, until man choose to disobey God: sin = disobedience to God. Because God is Holy & Pure, He cannot be around sin. Therefore sin separates us from Him. Since He cannot sin, He is not the cause of the separation, we are! And if a human dies without having their sins purchased by Jesus Christ, they die owning those sins & carry them into eternity with them! This causes an eternal separation from God & there are only two areas that are eternal: Heaven & Hell. Since sin is not allowed in God's presence, you have to go where sin is allowed! Is that where you want to spend eternity? Do you so much love your sin that you are willing to suffer forever for it? How do you picture Hell? Trust me when I tell you , it is not a place where you will party with your friends!! Once again, let's go to the Scriptures for a view of Hell: "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." Luke 16:22 through 31, King James Bible Okay, two things we can gather to be true about Hell: "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17, King James Bible When it comes to salvation, Jesus does discriminate! You must take the water of life freely! You must follow this verse: "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.", I Peter 5:7, King James Bible. When you trust Jesus Christ as your Lord & Saviour, you will discover what it's like to truly live!! Interested? If so, just follow this link->
Knowing this now, do you still want to hang onto your sin? Is what you are doing to please your flesh worth suffering this fate? That rich man? He's still suffering torments & they will never cease!! Every opportunity he was given to give his soul to Jesus keeps replaying in his memory! He will forever suffer & forever regret! Do you want this as well? There is an escape route!!
